Some swear by their fitness studio, which they visit in summer and winter regardless of the weather and always find ideal conditions for sport there. Others only exercise when the weather invites them to exercise outdoors.

Unfortunately, the risk of getting sour on the couch during the winter months is then quite high. Of course, exercise is really fun when the temperatures outside are pleasant. But is it really healthier to exercise outdoors?

With the rising temperatures in spring and the first rays of sunshine and warm days, motivation increases and the desire for sport comes up again for many. The opposite is true in autumn, when it gets dark early in the evening and the days are getting cooler - many then decide against exercise and for an evening in front of the TV.

The fact that fitness training can be more effective speaks for outdoor sports. You can burn up to a third more calories by jogging in the woods and fields instead of running on the treadmill in the gym. One of the reasons for this is that you are fighting against the air resistance outside and have to make a lot more effort. There are also inclines and constant changes in terrain, which make the training more varied and therefore more efficient. The sun factor speaks for outdoor training. The sun's rays also produce hormones and a good mood in the body and make a contribution to health and well-being. Vitamin D, which the body obtains from sunlight, also strengthens bones.

What Speaks For The Studio?

The fact that you can practice it all year round, regardless of the weather and with the same level of motivation, speaks for itself in the fitness studio. Excuses about rain or darkness lose their meaning and if you have integrated the fitness training sessions two or three times a week into your everyday life and routine, you hardly risk being lazy for a few months in winter. In addition, there is the motivation that you pay your contributions every month and want something for your money.
