Deep work Training – A Successful Mix
With deep work training you don't need a mat to lie comfortably on the floor. The training takes place largely while standing. The individual exercises are borrowed from Chinese and other Asian martial arts and are characterized by the fact that the focus is on the conscious alternation of tension and relaxation. Many exercises are comparable to those in Pilates and yoga, but they are performed much more explosively, faster and more powerfully. So if Pilates and yoga aren’t sweaty enough for you, but who would still like to do something for their flexibility and agility, deep work is the right choice for you. Basically, mobility training and endurance training are combined here in a perfect way.
What Do Typical Deep work Exercises Look Like?
What should you be prepared for when doing deep work? A lot of jumps are performed, from different positions. Muscle strength is trained, endurance is required and fat burning is boosted at the same time. The fact that the body switches between resting phases and exertion over the entire training session - and this explosively and with a lot of strength - guarantees an ideal level of calorie burning. Even old hands in sports find exercises in deep work that they have certainly never done in this way. Part of the challenge is getting involved in something new. The aspect of stretching is also used in many exercises and rounds off the concept.
